The blank canvas is not what inspires awe, rather it is the beauty of the colors and the manner in which they have been applied on it.... So, here I am "Passing the Paintbrush" let's see what awe we can inspire together!

February....

Getting things going is harder than I thought it might be with just under a thousand students to keep track of...  I am not adjusting well to the mental melt down that spring brings with it. Lots of things going on at school and even more things going on in my classroom.  I had two wonderful mothers come yesterday and take a few things home for me, thanks to Mrs .Solet and Mrs. Worth, I appreciate your help with keeping some of the "yarn mess" at bay. We have been working but some harder than others. We are finding it hard to keep students motivated and interested in the hands on world I live in, called the art room. I am slowly but surely losing my marbles as midterm and Tapestry exhibit approach.  I have struggled this year to get good work and enough of it to fill my display space at the ISC this year. I hope to get it laid out and all planned in the coming days and hope for a good turn out from those that are invited! A long weekend in the near future and so hoping some rest will rejuvenate me for the remainder till Spring Break.
