The blank canvas is not what inspires awe, rather it is the beauty of the colors and the manner in which they have been applied on it.... So, here I am "Passing the Paintbrush" let's see what awe we can inspire together!

Time,Time where did you go!

So, here we are at the end of the year and we are all getting ready for the hoildays and the break that comes along with it. I have been very busy in my classroom the last few weeks and am very proud of the students and all that they have completed! I am posting some photos so please take a look at there most fabulous creations...this is always a special time of year for several reasons, but surprisingly enough, when we return in january something happens... Kindergarteners are more like first graders, first graders more like second, and so on... lots of growing up happens and lots of new and exciting things begin to happen as well. As we embark upon the new year I look to impliment some new things and hopefully they wil lbe taken well by the parents and students here at Rock Springs, we are going to be starting some choice based learning activities at the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade levels... we are going to trying this to see how well students do with it and see if it is something that we can make a more perminent part of our classroom. I am excited to try some new things with them and see if we can then add those things to the K, 1, and 2 grades as well.  I must first see how it goes with the other sand then plan from there. I wish you all a very Happy Holiday and look forward to seeing you back in a few weeks.
