The blank canvas is not what inspires awe, rather it is the beauty of the colors and the manner in which they have been applied on it.... So, here I am "Passing the Paintbrush" let's see what awe we can inspire together!

Pod... Makes me think of Peas!?!

So, I started the summer so on top of things and every minute of my time was used to it's fullest... I now find myself almost three weeks behind on my Fabulous Technology class and vacation coming up Tuesday!  Granted, I am tired, I am staying hungry, and I am exercising now more than ever... but I am a mommy of a 2 1/2 year old... these things together, I am running out of go juice. I am spread thin but for the first time in a long time feel like everything is getting done plus some and that scares me because school is started and this will soon come to an end!

Back to this blogging tech class thing  I am doing... technically not doing... It and I are definitelt not 2 peas in a pod right now!

No Podcast.... But a near coronary for myself late last night....

So, as I sat last night (LATE last night) trying to get a jump on the "what's left on the TO DO list of never ending Things to do before school starts.... (this by the way was the only school to do list I was working on) I had a moment of panic!!! I have made it my mission this summer to take the zillions of images of art I have taken over the years; from lessons, museums, tapestry exhibits, etc. and rename and organize so I can find the things I need to get to... I have worked very hard and only had one folder left to have completed the
mission that I thought would never be completed... "Where is it?" OMG, I thought I had for sure lost my summers work! I double checked myself, "Yep, the USB is plugged in! Perhaps I need to wiggle it? Maybe if I unplug and plug back in?" My computer was not even showing that there was a USB plugged in... "What do I need to do?"  I calmly got my husband and asked him if he thought there was anyway, I could retrieve my much needed, wanted, and loved information back? He said it would take time but he would work on it... He tore apart the USB drive and within that small case there was the "motherboard" of an artist photos and power points!!!! Of the four prongs that held that valuable information there was but one remaining connected to the ole motherboard! This was not promising... I allowed him to work and he was masterful at his skill... he is so handy sometimes.... Needless to say, I can get back on track with my homework and podcasting and rest assured that my beloved images are safe on my desktop again. Look at the picture to see the amazing job my husband did of solving theissue... granted, I will not be carrying this USB around with me for further use in the future!

On the other hand, I am looking forward to our vacation which is coming up soon... If Elmo's World continues to air the same show about the beach everyday next week as it did this week, Skyler will have all the information he needs to know.... running around the house saying, seagulls, beach, sand, bucket and shovel!!!  The kid can't hardly wait!
